Barbie’s clocked over 150 jobs on her resume to date. We’ve seen her as a surgeon, architect, football coach and fashion designer. But Barbie’s newest job might just be her most modern and challenging gig yet—tech entrepreneur.
While many critics may argue that she’s still decked out in too much of her signature pink, we’re rather impressed with Entrepreneur Barbie’s risk-taking attitude and ambition. Here are seven reasons why she, in fact, totally rules…
1. She’s in charge.
That’s right, Barbie is a total boss at her fancy desk—latte at the ready and color-coordinated inspiration board shining in the background.

2. She’s inspiring and encouraging girls’ interest in STEM.
STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. While Barbie may have represented fashion and femininity in a past life, it looks like Mattel is attempting to propel Barbie into the modern age. She even has her own LinkedIn page.

7. She’s got employees.
Barbie didn’t get to be where she is on her own. She’s got talented friends, mentors, and a team of hotshot tech geniuses like Computer Engineer Barbie. Entrepreneur Barbie knows a lot, but she doesn’t live in the Matrix like this gal.
